Thank you Year 6 for a fantastic play!
This week in Maths, we are exploring different types of lines. In order to begin investigating this topic, we created our own patterns outside using natural materials. We tried to use lots of different types of lines, to create really interesting designs.
This week, we played our recorders for our families and the rest of the school. In Year 3, we have worked really hard to practice playing our recorders and we have really enjoyed learning lots of different songs. Thank you Mrs Combes for teaching us how to play the reorder.
Recently in Forest School, we learnt about a Victorian artist called William Morris. We discussed how the majority of his patterns were inspired by the natural world, such as leaves and flowers. Next, we went outside and created our own patterns inspired by William Morris and nature.
