Recently, we worked with Year 6 to plan our annual Sports Relief event. First, we learnt about how Sports Relief supports people in the United Kingdom and abroad. Next, we came up with lots of fun activities for the rest of the school to take part in. They included how many hoops can you score in a set time, how many balls can you hold, how many hula hoops can you use at the same time and many more. Next, we split into groups of four, including two year 6 children to plan each activity. The event will be on Thursday 17th March, from 1.30pm – 2.30pm and each activity will cost 50p.
In Forest School recently, we made bird feeders using lard, bird seeds and old yoghurt pots! Most of us took them home to hang in our gardens. However, you can see some of them hanging in the quiet garden.
Congratulations to the Year 3 boys, for winning 2-1, against Cranbourne on Tuesday!
